I had back surgery on April 24, 2024 for spinal stenosis and degenerative disc disease. My doctor placed two rods and six pins in my back. A year later, he recommended another surgery to extend the hardware from L3 to the pelvic bone—longer rods and four more pins. After I explained everything to my friend Kevin, he encouraged me to start taking BoneX. Six months later, my follow-up showed new bone growth, and I no longer needed the extension surgery. Instead, my doctor removed the rods and pins that were there—and even let me keep them to show my family and friends!
